Net2Home Organizes Community Network Training for Ban Na Representatives in Tak Province
Net2Home organized a training program for community representatives from Ban Na Subdistrict, Sam Ngao District, Tak Province, during 14–15 February 2026 at THNIC Academy in Tak Province. A total of seven community representatives participated in the training.
The program opened with a welcome address by Ms. Waraporn Sakulthai (Khru Tum), Manager of THNIC Academy, who introduced the mission of the THNIC Foundation and shared the concept behind the training. The program aims to equip technicians and community representatives with fundamental knowledge of internet networking systems that can be applied to support community-based network development.
The event was also honored by the presence of Prof. Dr. Kanchana Kanchanasut, Vice Chair of the Thai Network Information Center Foundation (THNIC Foundation) and a pioneer of the Internet in Thailand. She shared her experiences and the inspiration behind the establishment of THNIC Academy in Tak Province. Participants showed strong interest in learning about the early development of the Internet in Thailand and had the opportunity to seek guidance on future educational pathways.
The training was conducted under the Network Deployment and Troubleshooting program, combining both theoretical and hands-on sessions. The course covered network design and installation, device configuration, signal testing, and basic troubleshooting. The objective was to enable community representatives to apply this knowledge in installing and maintaining network infrastructure within their communities.
The activity was successfully carried out with the support of THNIC Academy, Tak Province, which provided the training venue. The initiative aims to empower the Ban Na community—where access to the Internet remains limited—to develop and manage its own community network. This effort is expected to expand opportunities in education, employment, and overall quality of life for people in the area in a sustainable way.
